Competitive rates of pay

We regularly check our salaries against other employers to make sure we're competitive and in order to keep up with any changes in the market, we'll review your basic pay every year.

Pension scheme

Our pension scheme, provided through Aegon Scottish Equitable, one of the largest insurance companies in the world, is an excellent way to provide for a secure retirement.

How much you pay into the scheme is a personal decision and depends upon how much you can afford, when you want to retire and how much retirement income you think you will need.

We'll match your contributions, so, for example, if you decide to pay 5% of your basic salary we'll also pay 5% on your behalf. Depending on length of service, we'll match up to 9% of basic salary.

Paid holiday

We offer 25 days paid holiday per year and up to eight paid bank holidays.

Profit related bonus

We have an annual bonus scheme which is linked to company performance and is open to all new employees from the date they join the company. Those with less than one year's service are eligible for a proportionate bonus, based on the number of full calendar months worked in the financial year.

Employee discount

Whether it's saying thank you to your mum on Mother's Day, announcing the birth of your bundle of joy or embarrassing your mates on their 21st birthday you'll be able to do it for less using our staff advertising discount.

Nursery vouchers

Childcare is expensive but perhaps we can help. CN has signed up to the nursery voucher scheme which means that you can allocate up to £243 of your salary each month to buy nursery vouchers, saving up to £1,195 per year on tax and national insurance.

Healthcare

We work in partnership with 'Simply Health' to provide cash back plans towards healthcare costs. A HealthSure cash plan is a solution to rising helathcare costs that isn't Private Medical Insurance (PMI). It includes everyday treatments PMI policies often don't cover like dental and optical care, physiotherapy and even accupuncture.

Job-related benefits

Depending on your job, you may also receive additional benefits such as a company car, monthly performance bonus or private healthcare.
